Yet we often find ourselves in these seasons\, struggling to embrace the gospel hope we need to fill our discouraged souls. \nJoin us for a seven-session study of the book of Colossians with the help of our study book Truthfilled by Ruth Chou Simons as she leads us through a practice of preaching gospel truth to ourselves by studying Paul’s example. In every changing season of life\, we can rest in God’s character\, rehearse our identity in Christ\, respond in faith\, and remember God’s provision for us. In today’s culture\, there is no shortage of easy fixes and worldly advice\, but only the truth of God’s Word was meant to satisfy us fully. \nThe study book will be available for pick up before or after the 10 am worship service on March 26 and April 2. Or feel free to pick yours up at our first gathering on April 4. \nOur Women’s Bible Study on Tuesday mornings meets in person in the Student Center from April 4 through May 30. Sign up for the whole year or just the fall — the choice is yours! \nFall Study: Jeremiah – Daring to Hope in an Unstable World by Melissa Spoelstra\nJeremiah is a book about endings\, a book that deals with what the faith community thinks about when an old world is passing and a new world is not yet seen. There is therefore much mourning and grief in Jeremiah\, for that is the way people respond to endings and to death and relinquishment. There is also much anger and hurt\, for that is the way people often feel when a once-predictable\, known world is being wrenched from their hands. Because we live in a time when many have given up HOPE for the promises of the old\, conventional\, expected world\, the book of Jeremiah has a message for us in their grief and loss. Come along with us as we simply ask\, “What is God up to in our present time?” \nREGISTER FOR THE THURSDAY EARLY MORNING STUDY \nThe Thursday early morning study joins over Zoom.
