DESCRIPTION:Sunset Church and Union Gospel Mission are pleased to host Dove Award-Winning Christian music artist\, Mitch McVicker\, live in concert. \nThe longtime musical collaborator of the late Rich Mullins was with Rich in the accident that took Rich’s life. Mitch underwent a length recovery period; however\, he would record 12 albums after the accident. His concerts have been described as “a little bit Mark Twain meets MacGyver. His quirky and inventive approach includes insightful song lyrics\, unconventional instruments\, and profound storytelling.” \nCost: FREE. (For those who wish to give\, we will take donations to help cover the cost of the event and to support the artist.) \nPlease come join us for uplighting music and an ice cream social in an evening of family-friendly fellowship.

You are welcomed As You Are. \nWhen you join Sunset Moms\, you will be connected to other mamas doing real life together\, including moms at different stages who are committed to praying and supporting you. There will be breakfast\, childcare\, and community. You will hear from amazing speakers\, engage in meaningful conversations\, and be prayed for by fellow moms. We hope to provide you with two hours to enjoy food without being “mom’d”\, to have space to breathe and to be loved.  Wherever you are in your journey of raising kids\, we hope you will find growth and love here. \nSunset Moms starts on Thursday\, September 15\, and goes through Thursday\, June 1\, meeting on the 1st\, 3rd\, and 5th Thursdays during the school year from 9:30-11:30 am at Sunset Church.    \nWe have playdates in the gym on the 2nd Thursdays of the month. Playdates are open to all whether you are attending Sunset Moms or not. \nKIDS CLUB – If you have children ages birth to kindergarten\, we have Kids Club for them while you are at Sunset Moms. The cost is $60 for the first child and $30 for each additional child.
