SUMMARY:CIY MIX - Middle School Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:We’re so excited to be going back to MIX at Washington Family Ranch (Canyon side). \nAt camp\, students will enjoy fun games and camp activities (swimming pool\, recreation building with rock climbing wall\, pool tables\, basketball\, gaga ball)\, volleyball\, zipline\, giant swing and more. There will be crazy large group games\, worship\, programming and talks designed to introduce your student to Jesus and/or grow in their faith. Camp is always full of friends\, fun\, candy\, a little cabin drama\, the camp high\, maybe some sunburns and hopefully new and deeper community as they wrap up the school year and get ready for the next transition. SUMMARY:Black History Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Oregon Black Pioneers’ popular walking tours are a great way to experience local history. Led by a member of the Oregon Black Pioneers team\, this two-hour\, 2-mile walking loop will make stops at locations connected to the Albina area’s Black history. Themes will include Black-owned businesses\, community change\, and civil rights. \nAll adults and high school/middle school students are welcome to register. We only have 20 spots available\, so please register to secure your spot soon. \nRegistration will close at the end of Sunday\, July 19. \nCost: $10/person (Payment will be collected at the event by the Sunset group leader.) \nREGISTER HERE >>>
