Sunset Buddies Training

At Sunset, our heart is to welcome children and youth of all abilities into our programs. To do this well, we’re introducing a new ministry — Sunset Buddies! Buddies will serve and be blessed by our children and students with disabilities in our kids’ and youth ministries. Our prayer is that families who are affected by disability will feel well-supported when they walk through our doors.

We’re having a training (and lunch) for current kids’ volunteers and those interested in learning more about serving in this way! Joni & Friends, an organization that brings resources and Gospel hope to people with disabilities around the world, will help equip us to join the work God is already doing — giving us the opportunity to better serve all of our families who attend our church.

Attending the training only indicates your curiosity and interest in serving! Volunteers who feel led to serve through Sunset Buddies will sign up and apply after training.
