Worship Auditions
Tuesday, February 24
The Sunset Worship team is holding informal auditions! If you’re interested in serving in the worship ministry, please consider joining us. We’ll play through a few songs with you, and there will be representatives from kids, youth, and adult worship teams to see how you might be able to plug in. Please fill out a worship audition form, and we’ll reach out. If you have any additional questions, please contact Laura VanderGiessen.
Women's Retreat: Save the Date
April 11-12, Canby Grove Conference Center
Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the 2026 Women’s Retreat! We’ll head over to the Canby Grove Conference Center for two days and one night of connection, renewal, and time with God. This year’s theme is “The Gap – From Knowing to Experiencing,” and we’re thrilled to have Michelle Ruetschle as the retreat speaker. The entire weekend is being intentionally crafted around this message, and we can’t wait to see how God meets us there. Registration will open soon, but we want to make sure you save the date.
Sunset Missions Prayer

Young Families Small Group
We are starting a new small group, specifically for young families! This group will meet via Zoom every other Sunday evening beginning in mid-February. They will also get together in person periodically. If you’re interested, please reach out to Maddie Martinez.

Ash Wednesday: Receiving Ashes
February 18, 7 am-6 pm, Church Office
No matter where we go on Ash Wednesday, receiving and wearing ashes on our foreheads serves as a humble act of confessing our sins and receiving God’s forgiveness. Visit the church office any time from 7 am-6 pm, and you can receive ashes on your forehead from one of our pastors.
Ash Wednesday Service
February 18, 12:15-12:45 pm, Main Lobby
You’re invited to a short Ash Wednesday service to begin the season of Lent together! Pastor Steve will give an introduction to Lent and the meaning of Ash Wednesday — focusing on confessing our sins, proclaiming God’s forgiveness, and administering ashes while singing a couple of songs.
Kids Camp: Save the Date

We can’t wait to have Kids Camp this summer! Kids Camp is for children who are 4 years old through 5th grade as of next fall. More details & registration will be available in spring 2026.
