Food Pantry & Clothes Closet
The Food Pantry and Clothes Closet began with an old refrigerator, a few shelves for emergency food and a donation barrel for people to share clothing, mostly coats and children’s items. Each grew into a robust ministry that cares for thousands of people every year.
These ministries operate out of Sunset Church and serve members of the Beaverton and Portland communities through partnership with the Oregon Food Bank and the Beaverton Resource Center pantry network.
The mission of the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet is to be a place where God’s unconditional love can be realized through the gracious provision of emergency food and clothing for all those with real needs. Matthew 25:34-36; 40
