Prayer is our calling and practice at Sunset Church. God invites us into a relationship with Him, and prayer is one way to do that. It gives us a chance to openly communicate with Him — bringing our joys and troubles to Him, lifting someone else in prayer, strengthening our faith in Him, and much more.

Prayer Opportunities
24-7 Prayer Ministry
This ministry opens the door for 168 people to commit one hour a week for prayer — maintaining constant prayer coverage as we remain in Jesus and He remains in us! Our prayer is that each slot fills up for 24-7 prayer coverage.
Participants choose a one-hour slot in the week and receive a weekly prayer update to encourage them in praying for the church, their communities, and the world.
The Prayer Course I and II
We hold a yearly class to discuss Pete Greig’s Prayer Course, covering the basics of prayer and understanding unanswered prayer. More information will be available soon.
