Jerry & Barb develop and lead educational programs in Colombia to reach Latinos for Jesus. Their passion is to provide Christian education in order to: meet Jesus, bring healing and restoration from broken lives, be immersed in God’s Word, be filled by His Spirit, and dream God’s dreams. Through scholarship partnerships, many students now have the opportunity. The Manderfields founded and lead the Bible Institute to prepare and send Latinos to the “nations.” They collaborate with local churches and cross-cultural mission organizations. Jerry & Barb also founded and are growing a licensed K-12 school to impact future generations with the gospel.
A Good News Story
Born in a Colombian poverty-stricken village, Yubeli received a scholarship to the Bible Institute. She grew in God’s Word and excelled in her studies. Soon, she felt His call to go to Burkina Faso, Africa. There Yubeli used her learned leadership and language skills to bring unity through Christ to two competing tribes. She also cultivated a farm project to feed villagers and provide work for the youth. Today Yubeli and her Burkinabe husband have many more God-sized dreams to fulfill among the unreached people. Pray for many more faithful Latinos, like Yubeli, to be God’s ambassadors to the nations.
