We encourage you to volunteer with WakeUp Beaverton, a local nonprofit partnering with Sunset Church and Beaverton School District as the coordinator of distributing school supplies that have been gathered by various collection sites. 

WakeUp Beaverton is inviting the Sunset Church to help with one particular distribution event (Aug 20 from 4-7 pm at Sunset HS) but you are welcome to sign up for the best day/time that works for your schedule. 

There are events afternoon and early evenings on August 19 & 20 and 26 & 27 at Aloha, Sunset, Beaverton, and Southridge High Schools. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks at each event. Below is a link for WakeUp Beaverton’s website to sign up.
