WWII Japanese Americans Internment Camp Incarceration Presentation

In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, Yukiko Flennaugh of Sunset’s Racial Justice Ministry will share her father’s story of his childhood years spent incarcerated. 

During WWII, Japanese Americans were incarcerated in internment camps in the United States. John Nakada spent three years behind the barbed wire fence of these camps. Yukiko will share details of her father and the family from these times.

The presentation will be held in the Fireside Room (West lobby area).
