Central Asia
As regional leaders, our global partner mentors field workers who reach out to families and communities across multiple Central Asian countries. These teams come alongside local churches and believers in ways that respect the cultural context so that Jesus is creatively and meaningfully expressed. This includes medical projects, Bible translation, media, teaching, artisanal and local business, and family discipleship. The partner also recruits, places, and guides new field workers in the region. Listening to God, our partner strategizes ways that the gospel can spread, field workers can stay healthy, and fellowships of Jesus followers can multiply.
A Good News Story
Farukh, a local believer, participated in a storytelling workshop where he learned to use oral Bible stories to help people interact with the Word of God. He started using his new skills at the sewing workshop he owns, telling stories and asking questions about it with the seamstresses and clients who were coming and going. His faith grew stronger as he told about Jesus and answered questions. It is a miracle to have gospel stories going around in a Central Asian bazaar. Pray for Central Asians to receive Jesus, and for the gospel to rapidly spread through communities.
