You’re invited to join us this spring for the women’s retreat!
Together, we will enjoy deep rest, connection with each other, fun activities, great food, and the opportunity to experience God’s love in new, exciting ways.
We’ll examine both the scriptures and recent psychological and spiritual research to explore why loving God should be more than just a precept we believe, but a relationship that heals and transforms us at the deepest level. Most importantly, we will explore how to lovingly relate to God and create space to put these ideas into practice. Come join us!
The wonderful Michelle Ruetschle will be our speaker this year.
Having grown up in seven countries across three continents, Michelle Ruetschle considers herself a true global nomad. Her career has also felt nomadic, moving from attorney to pastor’s wife and now to spiritual director. As a spiritual director, Michelle is passionate about exploring the deeper currents of the spiritual life, joining others in prayerfully attending to the movements of God in their lives, and growing in loving attunement to the One who loved them first.
Michelle comes alongside her husband Steve in pastoring Sunset Church, and together, they are almost finished launching their three sons into the world. Michelle is also back in school as a “mature student,” doing a Doctorate of Ministry in Spiritual Direction at Fuller Seminary.
Michelle loves books, photography, and travel, but finds her grandest adventures involve her lifelong discipleship journey with Jesus.
